Many people visit their chiropractic because they are in pain. In the first phase of chiropractic care, the main goal is to treat your symptoms in order to reduce and eliminate the amount of pain and discomfort. This will often require daily visits, or 2-3 visits per week.
Most people who visit our practice are under the assumption that if they do not feel any pain then there is nothing wrong with them or that they or healthy. In fact, pain and other symptoms will only appear after your condition has become advanced.
A good example would be having a cavity. The cavity does not become painful until it has become a serious problem. The same goes for major health issues such as cancer, heart disease, stress, spinal problems or diabetes. When you start your chiropractic care, pain will be the first symptom to disappear even though most of the underlying condition will remain.
